get it right in the first place

most of the time
people see what they want to see
and just ignore the truth
thinking “this is the way I see it”
and without considering that
maybe
there lies something else more
evil or deceiving or maybe even extraordinary
underneath

if you really need to know, all you
really have to do is
ask the question
or
ask many of them despite the fact it could make you
feel so uncomfortable
but
it’s so much better to get it all out of the way
to prevent a fiasco

don’t guess
don’t lie
don’t think something that isn’t
don’t think you are somebody you aren’t
and
don’t be stupid
